Following these steps will lead to the most efficient, competitive, quality outcome.
STEP 1: CONTACT US page
Share your idea with us by providing us with a 3D or 2D drawing of your project. The Contact Us page of
our website is the quickest way for us to get the process started. On this form, you will be able to upload
a drawing and provide us with more required information. You can also mail us a sample if necessary
after filling out the Contact US form. We will promptly get in contact with you about your project, discuss
details and answer questions.
STEP 2: RFQ form/Print/Quote
We’ll then email you a RFQ form to complete. This document will allow you to provide us with further
details necessary for a proper quote. Important information includes details about the material to be
used, such as alloy and temper (for aluminum) and density and durometer (for rubber). We will ask for
specific measurements and any custom options you desire. Don’t forget to inform us of your realistic
estimated usage (EAU). As with anything, the more you buy, the better the price on custom parts. After
talking to you about the project and reviewing your RFQ form, we will have our engineering team draw a
print of your project for you to approve and supply you with a quote for the material.
STEP 3: Tooling/First Article Samples
If the proposed drawing and price is acceptable, we will proceed with tooling to get your project well on its
way to completion. This process takes anywhere from a few weeks to 6-8 weeks, depending on the
product and material to be used. You will be given an estimate of when first article samples will be
submitted to you for approval.
STEP 4: Production
Once you receive the samples and they meet the specifications of the drawing, you will sign the
paperwork to approve the samples and your project will begin production. You will receive updates along
the way regarding estimated lead times for your parts, as production times vary depending on the type of
materials used.
